CACMUN is a long established MUN conference (28 years) specializing in high quality debate with a very diverse group of participants. Last year, 17 schools from 11 countries attended, including South Africa, Russia, China, India, Italy and Cambodia. Conference size is limited to less than 200 students, so each student has an excellent opportunity to participate. Most students participate as members of the General Assembly or ECOSOC, allowing students to work on the same issues during preparation. Opportunities to participate in the Security Council and ICJ exist for participants with appropriate experience and interest. Community housing makes this a very affordable and convenient conference, while promoting cultural exchange. The early dates of this conference make it an excellent conference to prepare for THIMUN and other later conferences. Visiting delegates also enjoy cultural opportunities such as visits to the Pyramids and/or other sites around Cairo.
