HaarlemMUN is a medium-sized conference offering opportunities for new delegates as well as the more experienced debaters. Over the years large number of foreign delegations have been coming to Haarlem MUN, contributing to the success of the conferences. Haarlem MUN is held at the 'Stedelijk Gymnasium' in Haarlem, a school founded in 1389 and located in the heart of the historic city, once the hometown of famous painters such as Frans Hals and Jacob Ruysdael. This offers the international visitors the opportunity to also see something of the rich Dutch culture.
