DSAMUN is a three-day MUN conference for secondary school students. Last year more than 400 delegates from ca. 40 schools from as far away as Japan participated. The small size of the committees (60-80 students) provides delegates with excellent chances to engage in lively discussions on topics from the UN agenda. The Security Council and the International Court of Justice are only for extremely motivated students, whereas in two Action Papers delegates can voice their own opinions without representing any country. As only limited private housing is available, special rates for accommodation (hotel/youth hostel) are offered. By attending DSAMUN, foreign delegates will have the great opportunity to visit Plaka (the old part of Athens), the National Museum, the Akropolis and all the other places of interest in Athens.
