Community housing is available for 90 students. Several schools do pre or post conference tours in and around Beijing. Hotel reservations can be made through the conference center.

The conference has a GA for opening ceremony. Opening speeches and rights of reply occur by all delegates at the start of each committee's meetings. Two students per delegation. One student per commission. The commissions are autonomous. The closing ceremony brings everyone back together.

BEIMUN uses THIMUN rules of procedure. Many students are THIMUN veterans.
